Long-Time Provisional

In the 70's, they were designed as an interim solution against transit problem:

Elevados (Elevated, understood as a noun).

It was only a temporary solution, which now almost reached 40 years.

One by one they are disappearing. I had the chance to say goodbye

to one of them, on Nueva Granada avenue.

Finally, I witnessed their inauguration during my childhood.
