Tropical Autumn

Our tropical country has no seasons. Here there is no spring, even the weather
is spring all year. And there is no autumn, although drought leaves fill the floor.

Nuestro país tropical no tiene estaciones. Aquí no hay primavera, aunque el clima sea
primaveral todo el año. Y aquí no hay otoño, aunque la sequía llene de hojas el suelo.

Elections 2012 | Route of Vote

Election day had prohibited to take photos.
I fulfilled that regulation for not to risk my vote.
But the discretion of the iPhone allowed me
to remember the route of several hours in order
to exercise my vote.

Preparation for the long line of people:  water, music, 
books, umbrella, sunglasses and a cellular radio.

The line was long but it only
took me two hours.
In other cases it took more time.

It's time to look at what table-number
I should vote. In any case, I already
known it through Internet.

Then I looked for the place where
was my polling room.
For some people, this was not easy.

There are no pictures inside the polling room.
I didn't do anything to risk my vote.
The vote proof: an indelible ink on his little finger.

The curious note: Many people who took advantage
of long lines for improvise food and beverage sales.
Business opportunity in a socialist country!
