Notables | Tales with Taste
José González is an ice cream seller. His passion for history took him to choose, as a
working place, the area around the National Pantheon where Venezuelan
heroes have been laid to rest. Little by little he became an impromptu
tour guide, telling visitors the history of Venezuela while still
selling ice cream. Today, he has become the National Pantheon's official
tour guide, although still selling ice cream on his days off. He was
even mentioned on newspapers that he proudly keeps into his cart, along
with history books.

For a long time, I had wanted to publish this photo with others similar colorful images
but the time passed. So this post has only one pic showing a shoelaces seller in Chacao.

In downtown, a coffee seller openly expresses his politics
while offering the traditional Guayoyo (soft coffee without milk).

Instead of those dirty broad mesons crammed with books and old records,
now the selling books under Av Fuerzas Armadas looks pretty neat and aesthetic,
though with less photography charm.
